# Pirelli Cinturato CN12 – Legendary Performance for Classic Sports Cars ## A Milestone in High-Performance Tyre Engineering The Pirelli Cinturato CN12 stands as a landmark in tyre innovation, originally developed in 1971 for the iconic Lamborghini Miura SV. As one of the first large-section high-performance tyres, it set new standards with its 255/60R15 size — exceptionally wide for its era — delivering superior grip and stability that matched the power of elite sports cars. ## Trusted by Automotive Icons Due to its outstanding performance, the CN12 was quickly adopted by other prestigious manufacturers including Aston Martin, Maserati, Jensen, and later used on classic Jaguars such as the late E-Type and XJ6 models. Its balanced design makes it ideal for vintage vehicles requiring authentic, reliable performance with enhanced road handling. This tyre offers a perfect blend of heritage and modern reliability, making it a top choice for classic car enthusiasts seeking period-correct aesthetics with improved safety and ride quality..
